In 1929 ,in the Porta Nolana district of Naples ,Vincenzo Laino and his wife Pina started to produce and trade leather goods, from belts and braces to handbags and briefcases.
Their five sons got on running the manufacturing and sales business , and in 1955 Angelo Laino decided to “leave Naples” and to develop sales channels throughout Italy. Together with his pattern book, he travelled to Rome, Milan, Turin, Venice, Bari, Florence, looking for clients willing to sell his branded products.
It was Angelo’s unflagging determination, firmness and innate attitude for sales, combined with high quality products, that led the company to be a money spinner across the country , becoming soon one of the most important names in the leather goods sector in Italy.
Quickly, thanks to the collaboration with sales agents and business representation companies, company extended its borders increasing sales in Spain, France, Germany, the UK, the Czech Republic, Poland and many other countries throughout Europe, Africa and the Americas and made the Export goal a reality.
